Corner. Tourism as Industry Is at Your Service
The fifth international exhibition-fair “Tourism in Russia 2002,” held recently in Moscow, was a tip of sorts that the summer resort season is at hand. Holiday-making and travelling are very good occupations in any season, but summer is something special. Tourist firms and companies of Russia and other CIS countries, as well as popular resorts, get ready for it in advance.
At a press conference,
held in the exhibition’s tourist lounge, representatives of the Goskomsport of
Russia, the Russian International Academy of Tourism, the All-Russia People’s
Tourist Society, companies and health resorts pointed out that the industry of
tourism in this country is developing year after year, in spite of the problems
it is now faced with; specialists are being trained, new routes and kinds of
tourism are being introduced, and the international cooperation is expanding.
And so, holiday-makers
in Russia can avail themselves of the opportunity of choosing the most
fascinating route for the coming summer.
